What Does a Culture Coach Actually DO??

Honestly it’s a question I’ve asked myself! “Culture Coach” might be a made up title.

“So… what exactly is a culture coach?”
“Like HR? A consultant? A team cheerleader?”

Kind of all of the above… but also not really??

Here’s the simple version:
A culture coach is someone who helps beauty schools and spas get their team, systems, energy, and expectations all aligned so the place actually runs the way you dreamed it would when you started.

I’m not here to micromanage your team.
I’m not here to give you a boring corporate binder.
And I’m definitely not here to throw another pizza party and call it “culture.”

Here’s What I Actually Do:

🧐 I take a good hard look at your systems, practices, and team morale.
From your onboarding to your dress code to how your staff meetings feel. I look at how things are running beneath the surface. Because if something feels “off” in your school or spa, it probably is.

💬 I have the hard conversations you’ve been avoiding.
Yep. I’ll sit down with that one staff member whose energy is bringing down the whole building. I’ll talk with instructors who feel burned out, but won’t say it out loud. I’ll help the team get honest so they can get on board with your vision.

📋 I create clear expectations that remove the guesswork.
What’s expected of your instructors? Your front desk? Your students? Your leadership team? If everyone’s operating on assumptions, resentment builds. I help set (and communicate!) expectations that protect your culture.

🎯 I align your staff around a shared purpose.
It’s not just about “being nicer.” It’s about creating a team that’s rowing in the same direction where everyone knows the mission, feels valued, and brings high energy on purpose.

🚫 I help you stop tolerating things that don’t match your values.
Because what you tolerate becomes your culture. I’ll help you get honest about what needs to change and give you the language and systems to change it without drama.

So Why Bring in a Culture Coach Instead of Just Handling It Internally?

Because sometimes you need someone outside the dynamic who isn’t afraid to ask the tough questions, give unbiased feedback, and offer real solutions without tiptoeing.

You’ve built something great.
But if the team isn’t clicking, the energy is low, or you’re constantly putting out fires your culture might need a reset.

That’s where I come in.

Let’s take the stress off your plate, get your team back on track, and create a culture that feels as good as it looks on paper.
