Teaching is where I found my passion. What started in esthetics quickly grew into a love for creating engaging learning experiences, building confident students, and helping educators make a lasting impact. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work on the front lines in the classroom and behind the scenes of a beauty school, giving me a unique perspective on how schools operate.

I truly believe that culture is a school’s greatest superpower. It’s the one thing that can’t be copied! The energy, the systems, the people, and the experience students remember long after graduation. While you can’t bottle it up and sell it, you can intentionally build it through consistency, communication, and thoughtful leadership. That’s why I created Backbar Culture: to help beauty schools strengthen their culture, streamline their systems, and iron out the operational details so they can spend less time putting out fires and more time doing what they do best—teaching and changing lives.
